FAQ

What type of testing is done on the Kings and Queens?

Kings and Queens are tested for FELV/FIV, PKD, and a Fecal test are done at my regular vet office. HCM scans are completed by a cat cardiologist, when available. they also receive yearly vaccines and physicals from the veterinarian.

Do Your Kittens Come With A Health Garentee?

* Kittens will be up-to-date on vaccinations, usually two FVRCP vaccines and receive a certificate of health from the vet, given to the buyer at pick up.
* The buyer may take the kitten/cat to their own veterinarian, (at buyers expense), within the first 72 hours for their own satisfaction and protection. If the veterinarian feels the animal is ill and illness was present prior to the sale the breeder will be contacted
* Third FVRCP vaccine and Rabies will need to be done at 16 weeks at owners vet.
After that a yearly check up.
* The breeder guarantees against death of a kitten/cat due to genetic defects for one year from the date of purchase. (FELV, FIV, and FIP (now treatable) are not genetic and are specifically excluded). If an unlikely death is due to a genetic abnormality and a report or written letter is received from a licensed veterinarian stating the cause of death reported from an autopsy report, the breeder will refund or replace (if available) Kitten. I love all my kittens and no matter what the issue, I will be available. I strive to maintain a positive relationship with families.

 What if I have allergies?

My son and I both have cat allergies and have been tested. My allergist doctor said I cannot have a cat in my house. I told him well I have five. 🤣
My kittens go to a lot of homes with people that have allergies. I have not had one returned or had anyone have an issue.
If someone has a severe allergy to regular cats, then they should not get a kitten/cat, not even a Siberian. All Siberians still have a small trace of allergen.

I have several options for families with allergies. I’m happy to meet at my vet’s office in Reisterstown with a couple kittens that have received their first vaccine. You can cuddle the kittens and see if there is a reaction. (these kittens will already be reserved, but if there’s no reaction you can go on my waitlist for the next litter) Another option is that I can mail some fur from several of my mamas and Norman, the Dad. You can expose the person with allergies to the fur and assess for a reaction.

How Do You Keep Your Kittens Groomed?

Each kitten receives a bath within a week of going home. Additionally, daily brushing and nail trims are given when needed. Your kitten will be used to getting brushed and having their nails clipped.

How Do I Adopt A Kitten

When you’re ready to commit, you can Zelle a $500 non refundable deposit, (venmo, checks, cash are also excepted) That holds your kitten and your spot. Then, after they are a little older and their personality and looks start showing through, (around 6 weeks) I will send detailed pictures and videos and you can choose which one would be best for you. (according to who put the deposit in first gets first pick, second, etc. - if there is a kitten that is not the color or sex you want. You can then move to the next list for the next litter). I also try to match kittens depending on their situation and personality to their new pet home. I have had a lot of success with this method. Then I will send or post pictures and videos so you can see how your baby is growing. When they’re spayed or neutered and have two sets of shots, they are ready to go home. The additional $1400 is due when you receive your kitten.

At What Age Can my Kitten Come Home?

The kittens go home usually around 12 weeks. Depending on when the vet can take them for their last vet visit. This allows plenty time for the kittens to be socialized, and learn their “kitten manners” from their mom. All kittens will be litter trained.

How Do You Socialize Your Kittens

My Siberians are family, sweet and cuddly with funny personalities. They are hand raised with a lot of love and attention. They end up being the sweetest, most beautiful, smart cats/kittens! They are raised in my home. The kittens get used to noises including cooking, vacuuming, TV, and kids! They kittens get played with, pet, and held every day, so they are super socialized when they go to their new home.
